** Ver 2.0 - Significantly improved the accuracy of motion graph interaction. Existing users please update **
This Exploriments Motion App introduces different motion graphs, including distance-time, speed-time, displacement-time and velocity-time graphs. The app lets you explore different characteristics of motion such as constant speed versus changing speed, average velocity, relation between speed-time and distance-time graphs and more. Each activity includes exercises that can be repeated many times with varying scenarios.

The Exploriments Series of interactive simulation-based tools makes conceptual learning in science an engaging and insightful experience. Visit www.exploriments.com to know more.

Activities:

Constructing Distance-Time Graph for Constant Speed
--- Understand attributes of a typical motion graph
--- Construct a distance-time graph by interpreting trails of a body moving at constant speed

Constructing Distance-Time Graph for Changing Speed
--- Construct a distance-time graph by interpreting trails of a body moving at changing speed

Constructing Distance-Time Graph from Speed-Time Graph for Constant Speed
--- Construct a distance-time graph by interpreting a speed-time graph for constant speed

Constructing Distance-Time Graph from Speed-Time Graph for Changing Speed
--- Construct a distance-time graph by interpreting a speed-time graph for changing speed

Reconstructing Motion from Displacement-Time Graph
--- Interpret displacement-time graph and use it to reconstruct motion in terms of trails

Calculating Average Velocity from Displacement Graph
--- Analyze a displacement-time graph and calculate average velocity for the given time periods

Additional Features:

--- Generation of real-time motion graphs synched with trails of the moving object
--- Construct motion graphs interactively
--- Repeat and revise with interactive exercises having varying scenarios
--- Numerical and graphical output
